FAQs

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8AM to 6PM. Our offices close for one hour of lunch from noon to 1PM every day except for Thursdays, when we are closed from noon to 2PM.

How can I get in touch with you?

Please call us at (210) 490-3900 for our main building, (210) 418-2500 for our ABA building, 210.526.4100 for our east building. You can also email us at contact@tlckidstherapy.com

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance terms can be confusing! Check out this article from KSAT 12 that can help.

https://www.ksat.com/news/local/2024/04/10/understanding-health-insurance-terms-ksat-explains/

We accept all major commercial insurances for OT, PT, and Speech. For ABA therapy we are only accepting private pay and Tricare at the moment.

What is the process like?

After being given a referral (if needed), you will schedule an appointment for an initial evaluation (2 hours for OT, 1 hour for PT/Speech). The therapist will then send their assessment to your insurance for approval, and you’ll get a call back when they give us an answer.

How long/frequent are the sessions?

Occupational and physical therapy sessions are 1 hour long. Speech is usually 30 minutes, but may run for 1 hour if needed (length will be defined upon initial evaluation). Therapy frequency depends on the therapist’s assessment, though in most cases we will suggest a minimum of two weekly visits.

ABA session length and weekly frequency will vary based on evaluation and insurance coverage.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes, and we do not have a waitlist
