Cranio Sacral Therapy

Cranio Sacral therapy is a light-touch therapy shown to be effective in supporting the central nervous system so that your child's body can self-correct and heal naturally. As the control center of the body, the central nervous system influences every other major body system and function.  That is why problems here can cause a wide range of sensory, motor or neurological disabilities. Benefits for children include increased calmness and greater focus as well as improved and integrated sensory system.

TLC Food School

The SOS approach stands for Sequential Oral Sensory. It originated with Kay Toomey at the STAR center in Colorado. SOS Feeding School is a fun and effective way to improve eating for picky and problem eaters. The SOS Approach focuses on increasing a child's comfort level by exploring and learning about the different properties of food and allows a child to interact with food in a playful, non-stressful way. TLC has taken the principles of this program and developed its own non-stressful way to help children try new foods and add foods to their diet.  At TLC the focus is taken away from the food in a game format on the floor so that stress does not start at sitting down to a table. TLC also works to desensitize gag reflexes and other oral reflexes hindering the chewing and swallowing of new, unpredictable foods.
